MHR Development managed interagency approvals, development of a request for proposal (RFP), and owners’ representation in connection with multi-school roof-top solar installations. The project is estimated to collectively yield over 1MW of renewable energy annually.
Supporting the Town of Wilton on selecting and managing an “EPC Contractor” for roof-mounted solar photovoltaic systems, under power purchase agreements (“PPAs”) for the Wilton High School, Middlebrook School, and Miller Driscoll School. Renewable Energy Credits (249kW Z-RECs) were secured for all three Wilton schools. Collectively, the three planned solar systems are projected to generate 1,039,517 kWh / year. The project is projected to save the Town of Wilton over $2 million over the term of the Power Purchase Agreement.
